    Hi all

Since September of last year I have been on a few more time lapse trips around Yorkshire, some have been “Holy Grail” time lapses (day to night and back to day) and some have been normal night time ones. I have incorporated some drone footage, stills and animated star trails as well to the clips. They can be seen at the links below and can be seen in HD and 4K

    All were taken on a Sony A7Sii and A7iii with Samyang 12mm f2.8 and 24mm f1.4 lenses

Really beautiful stuff.  How long of a track are you using these days?  I know you moved away from your Rhino gear some time last year.  Rick here (gardenfish) want’s Rhino gear bad.  If you still have it and want to get rid of it he’s your man.

No Rick I’m not selling you mine!!  LOL

    Hi Sean

Thanks for the comments, the rails that I am using now are 40″ so they are a bit longer than the Rhino gear. The big difference is that I now have tilt as well as pan and the pan and tilt head can be used separately from the slider, the slider can be used on its own as well and can also be used on a slant or even vertically. The other advantage is that the slider equipment from Dynamic Perception works seamlessly with the Timelapse+ view intervalometer which is essential for Holy Grail time lapse. I put the Rhino gear in part exchange for some other camera gear so it has already gone I’m afraid

    Best wishes

    Gordon
