This was 400 each Ha and O-III, 20 second subs, which is somewhat long for a RASA. the main star in the image was 5-6 times larger and was basically a pix of my primary/secondary and wires. I used PS to remove and clone to replace. The RASA does do well with anything bright. August 20, 2019 at 1:56 pm #3336 SeanAdmin/Moderator @h2opolo This is the same target I just finished. I did a 4 panel mosaic of it with my 127. I’m shooting flats of it right now. Great job August 21, 2019 at 2:01 am #3342 Brian @europa Thanks Sean. Yes this area is giant, looking forward to your mosaic. August 21, 2019 at 2:20 pm #3343 SeanAdmin/Moderator @h2opolo Me Too! Had to reshoot the flats yesterday. I got a pretty large area on the sky with the ED 127 and the QSI 683. It’s got the Butterfly Nebula, IC1318, Sadr, and all kinds of stuff in it. I love that area of the sky. For fun I created a 12 panel mosaic and figure I’ll just shoot panels over time until I get it done.
