i finally got off my butt and completed the master calibration frames completed in Pixinsight today for my QSI683 & SVA.  I’m anxious to see what the SVA130 can do. I’ve got 4 completed targets ready to process.  East and West Veil, Soul and Wizard. Hopefully they will meet my demands otherwise it’s back to my trusty RC or ED127.

Looking forward to the results! I should make more masters for various sub times.

Boy I tell you that it’s a pain in the butt to do a dark library for a new camera.  I shoot 20 minute images so that means I need 30 darks for it.  That takes most of a weekend.  And then since I use 3 different scopes it means I need 30 flats for each filter and for each camera/scope configuration.  It’s hard to keep up with.

Hey what are you doing for image storage?  I’m backing up to a big hard drive I bought and then mirroring it to a second hard drive I have.  I’m thinking about a raid array with stacked drives.  After two years I have every sub and processed images in possession and the size of it is huge.
